We collect information directly from you when you apply for our fellowship program, join a campus chapter, or register for builder updates. This includes:
- Personal Identifiers: Full name, university email address, phone number, and social links.
- Academic Affiliation: College name, course, current year of study, and campus chapter interests.
- Founder & Project Details: Pitch descriptions, slide deck attachments, repo links, and teammate contacts.
- Application Intent: Answers to onboarding questions regarding startup motivations and building track record.
2. How We Use Your Information
The collected information is utilized solely to power your ecosystem experience:
- Evaluating project applications for the Fellowship '26 cohort.
- Generating and issuing your official verified Council Member ID card.
- Communicating interview invites, cohort acceptance letters, and campus meetup alerts via Email and WhatsApp.
- Administering the campus ambassador leaderboard and referral incentives.
4. Security & Data Retention
We implement industry-standard database rules, SSL encryption, and strict role-based access to safeguard your information from unauthorized access. We retain registration records as long as your membership is active in our student startup network, or until you request account deletion.
5. Cookies & Analytics
Our platform uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) solely to aggregate page performance, error telemetry, and geographic traffic trends. We do not profile you across third-party websites or deploy tracking pixels.
