Terms & Conditions | The Future Council

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the website and registering for programs offered by The Future Council, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or submit applications for the programs.

2. Program Application & Registration Fee

To apply for the Fellowship '26 cohort, applicants must complete the application form and pay a non-refundable Application Registration Fee of ₹1,999 (Rupees One Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Only).

Payment of the application fee does not guarantee admission or selection into the fellowship cohort. Selection is strictly merit-based, evaluating prototype viability, problem depth, and founder screening interviews.

3. Program & Application Fee Policy

Program Fee: The Fellowship program fee is ₹0 (100% equity-free; we do not charge the ₹1.5 Lakh program fee, and have made the program fee ₹0 for all 20 selected founders). Selected fellowship founders do not pay any tuition fees to participate in the cohort.
Application Fee: The application registration fee of ₹1,999 is charged to ensure high-intent applications from serious builders and filter out spam. It is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including non-selection of your application, withdrawal, or scheduling conflicts.

4. Program Commitments & Offline Attendance

Fellowship '26 is an offline intensive cohort. While it is not a residential program, selected members are required to visit designated partner hubs in Delhi NCR for workshops, pitch clinics, founder mixers, sprints, and Demo Day evaluations. Participants must ensure availability for these sessions. Accommodation location guidance is provided, but living costs are borne entirely by the participant.

5. Intellectual Property

All startup pitches, slide decks, prototypes, and code submitted during the application or built during the cohort remain the exclusive intellectual property of the respective founders and builders. The Future Council does not claim any ownership or equity over your projects. By participating, you grant us a royalty-free license to display your project name, logo, and public descriptions in our media channels, marketing material, and portfolio listings.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Future Council and its founders, mentors, sponsors, and campus branches shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in the programs, networking events, or usage of program resources.
